Welcome to Death over Drafts!
I'm Stefanie, Death over Drafts Founder
As a family caregiver consultant and end-of-life doula, I strive to provide the best guidance and support for individuals and their families as well as a valued resource for the care team during life transitions.
However, our society does not always make it easy to have conversations around death. In an effort to change that, I am "drafting" a new narrative by combining my passions: craft beer and welcoming conversations through Death over Drafts!

Death over Drafts is a casual and fun community event to spark connection and is part of a growing movement to destigmatize important conversations on end-of-life.
Every gathering has a different vibe based on who is the Death over Drafts Crafter, aka Host. While these gatherings provide an opportunity for those who serve in the end-of-life field to gather and reflect personally and professionally when you join us at a Death over Drafts gathering one thing is constant: all are welcome.
A terrific pairing with Death over Drafts is The Death Deck, a welcomed conversation starter that lets us explore a topic we’re all obsessed with but often afraid to discuss. Another Death over Drafts feature we are buzzed about are the strong Death over Drafts Hosts aka Co-Crafters and Collaborators of different types (ie: Hospices, Healthcare Conference, Film Screenings etc…). Stefanie’s passion for craft beer and holding conversations on end-of-life also includes tapping co-crafters across the county and world!

I am pleased to be part of a growing death-wellness movement and to provide space, and a place to honor and support individuals, families, and each other.
I hope this inspires you to join our brewing end-of-life community!
