Cheers! Please join me, Stefanie Elkins, Death over Drafts Founder, as well as Family Caregiver Consultant and EOL Doula with Be Present Care, along with Lisa Pahl, LCSW, Owner of The Death Deck, as we are in conversation with Barbara Karnes, RN.
Due to the incredible outpouring of support around being in community with Barbara, I’m super buzzed to share that Andy Ingall, Director of Virtual Programs, Reimagine, will be joining us as Zoom host support, alongside colleague Co-Crafters, aka Hosts Megan Carmichael, Hospice Volunteer Services, UVM Home Health & Hospice, and Jamie Thrower, EOL Doula & Educator, Queer Grief Club.
Reimagine is a nonprofit that brings people together to face loss, adversity, and mortality. Their participants take small, sweet steps towards channeling life’s individual and collective challenges into action and growth. I’m deeply grateful to Reimagine now, just as I was in 2019 when my first Death over Drafts was part of their in-person festival in San Francisco. As the Zoom host, you’ll receive event-related emails from Reimagine.
Death over Drafts are community gatherings where end-of-life conversations are being "tapped" at breweries nationwide and in Canada. These events are hosted by Crafters, aka Hosts, who welcome those curious and serve in the end-of-life space to connect, reflect, share, and have fun. Please bring your beverage of choice to our Death over Drafts!
